Little Alter Boy: Practical Ways I Use It

Little Alter Boy is a not-so-secret gem in today's music made by the amazing company Soundtoys. It allows you to take vocals (or whatever else) and pitch shift them while simultaneously changing the formant. I've been using this plugin for about 3 years and here are a couple of practical ways that I use it.

The first and the most notable is by copying an audio file and placing it on another track. From there you can shift the vocal down a whole octave and create a dark and emotional vocal effect. Another practical way to use Little Alter Boy is by using it as a doubler. Simply tweak the mix to get a chorus-like double effect.
