About 'Illegal' Genshin Impact Modding...

Genshin impact modding is pretty cool. you can play as Minecraft Steve (I am dumb and forgot to record footage of Minecraft Steve), activate shaders and straight up cheat. tools to customize the experience of playing Genshin impact on private servers just got a whole lot easier. (3 months ago look things happen, wrist injuries and broken computers can really slowdown video releases).

yeah this is a month late release for a video that was already a month late...
If I forgot to link anything tell me and I'll add it. I am way to exhausted right now.

as for the specifics from the video I think they are as follows (its been a month give me a break):
Multiverse Impact (for most of the character mods used in the video)
DiXiao (literally all the minecraft stuff and the Ak47)
ruz (Chitoge skin for amber)
cybertron231(Jotaro statue)
MrLGamer (kurumi skin for Hu Tao)

I flew to Celestia the other day with this and it actually gets small to the point that if you get really close to it, it's barely bigger than your character's head

suggestion/feedback: multiply EXP from defeating enemies to like 1000 because defeating enemies yield negligible amount of EXP (and also Mora)

if you are connecting to elsewhere than its official service like grasscutter (commonly called private servers), it should be protected under copyright law's first sale doctrine.

Tbh genshin modding is mostly just meme model swaps for clickbaity youtube videos anyway so its not like it something that people would really want to bother downloading and going throught the headache of actually installing it especially if theres a risk of bring banned involved

the problem about mods is.. that the company does the crap they want..
you can use it 5 years, then.. puff got banned because they changed idea. And that is what scares most people, me included not to use it.. I don't want to lose what i farmed for years. Unless im sure or 99.9% sure they will not ban even in the future.

I wonder what will happen when a mod is developed that basically overhals the whole game into being a singleplayer experience with like, unlockable characters in a private server, cus that would legit hurt their wallet if too many people talked about it, it won't kill genshin cus the merit of bragging you got a character in the gacha is still there, but yea.

also curious, i think it is "illegal" but i did download a mod to make my lumine have dark clothing and it made her hitbox larger somehow, even though that wasnt what it said it'd do, would that be "illegal" to have? and no its not like my attack range, its just the hitbox i can be hit in, so if im flying slightly above something like a spike it can still hit me.
