Would go back there in a heartbeat!.
I was 15 in 1986 and remember having a discussion with my old man about wanting to leave school early and get a job!, Did okay at school but hated every moment of it!.
What he told me is won't believe me now but One day you will look back and reminisce about how much you want to be a kid again, these are the best days of your life, this is your era!, You have no real worries but when you get older and have responsibilities like starting a family, buying a house and putting food on the table etc, think back to this conversation old man was a hell of a lot wiser than I'll ever be!.

Spending all Saturday morning in your jimjams watching cartoons and eating giant bowls of coco pops, then getting on your bike and going to call for your mates and spending all day round the park getting into mischief! Happy days.

I was born in 1970, so I had my teenage years in the 80's, fantastic decade, I had blonde highlights in my hair, mix tapes, pastel clothes, great music, 100% of my fondest memories from that time.

We never knew it at the time, because we were too busy living and enjoying life, but we were in paradise. The fun we had as children in London in the 80s was like something you' can't explain to anyone who wasn't there. Bikes, Outdoors, school trips, wet playtimes, video games, A-Team, Madonna, Lego Castles, He-Man, Neighbours, Water pistols, Video shops, Horror films... I could go on but I'd start to well up.

I know every adult says this but the 80s were the best. Such a happy decade.

The best stuff, new tech, crazy music and some of the best movies.

The 80s were the best whether it was bombing around on BMX bikes, watching the great Spielberg movies or listening the music of the greatest pop era...they all make magical memories that will NEVER be forgotten and don't WANT to be forgotten by us 80s kids😎

Born in the mid-70s and the older I get, the more I miss the 80s.

Sure there were a lot of problems too, but it really was the best balance of tech and humanity. People still talked to each other, had basic common sense, no toxic social media, no over regulation of almost everything, fantastic music and entertainment.

Socially, this was the peak era for the Western world.I genuinely worry about where things are heading now.

If I had one wish I'd seriously go back to this wonderful, happy, brilliant, great decade...I truly miss those days I often reminisce about how life was in the 80s and comparing how life is now makes me sad.

Was the greatest decade ever.
More things for the consumer went mainstream, than at any other time. I actually think we are the last generation that was truly happy
