Notes I've found with her kit:

-Her passive AA thing is part of her _hit chain_, so you can't keep it queued up like you can Nu Wa's. Also, it does not stack with itself, and only refreshes in duration if you apply it a second time, so AA builds won't be very potent.

-The 1 can be canceled, just like Merc and Thoth ults, without using its cooldown or mana.

-The bonus damage on the 2 is scaled off of your magical power, unlike Fafnir's buff which scales off the person you're buffing. Playing Morrigan as a support will be sketchy, 'cause you can't just automatically assist with damage no matter your build.

-DoT abilities and Mystical Mail are very hard counters to her 3. If she tries to use it as a narrow escape while being attacked, it will often be entirely nullified. It's also the most effective decoy ability in the game; proper use of it will actually fool people, as opposed to SWK and (obviously) Loki decoys.

-_Oh boy the ult._ It balances itself, and in my opinion is actually the most balanced part of her kit. Yes, you can select any god, but there's drawbacks to it. As far as team composition is concerned, you must remember that you are sacrificing a role on the team to duplicate something, unless you're copying the enemy mage/assassin (if you're playing her in the jungle). If Morrigan is your only mage and you use her to do a second Ares ult, you aren't going to have the massive mage ult that usually follows an Ares. Also, if you stink at hitting the abilities of the god you transform into, you're still going to be just as effective as you were before. the 10-second duration is only long enough to do _one_ full rotation of a god's kit, so you have to make your attacks count. Plus, due to the way skills are transferred, you could end up with your most damaging ability (Kukulkan's 3, for instance) not being leveled at all because your 3 is your escape and you max it last.

Also, Rayn, you were wrong about how the ult's cooldown changes. If the ult she copies has a lower cooldown than Changeling, it will retain the 80-second cooldown. However, if the ult she copies has one that is higher, it will be extended, and any CDR items that _she_ has built will not reduce it. If she has Chronos Pendant and copies an Ares with no cdr, her ult will still be 100 seconds of cooldown.

So excited for the Celtic pantheon. It's my personal favorite, and love the major design choices with both The Morrigan (exceptionally creepy in her actual writings and historian stuff) and the two Celtic skins. Smite is growing to be the best thing ever lol

the only thing I hate about Smite is the bullying, smite is my first moba game and Im trying so hard to be a better player but there are people that keep telling me to delete the game and hang myself, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO HAVE FUN WITH THAT?!?!? :C

i personally think she is top tier but not overpowered. she seems very good. the biggest thing for me about morrigan is she seems to be the most fun God ever for being able to change into another God. fun and powerful but not overpowered. I can't wait to play her.

What if there's an enemy Morrigan and as Morrigan YOU ult into a Morrigan and then use HER ult to change again?

For me, it's not whether or not there's a shiny new toy to play with, but if there's enough options for me to handle whist playing the game. Not that there's aren't already many options because of the multiple gods you can choose, but having the power to decide a certain battle's outcome via transformation makes you think of plans you wouldn't have with a team of locked heroes. But that's just my way of thinking because you can never have enough options.

raynday the ult has a increased CD if you use the ult of the god you have changed in to. If the cooldown on their ult is lower then yours the ult remains at 80 seconds. however if it is higher like a zeus or ares ult and you cast it your cd is increased to the cd of the god you copied. hope this helped

I mean, last I checked she's game-breaking in the literal sense. Seriously, end a match with her ult active and everyone gets stuck on the victory/defeat screen until the The Morrigan who caused the bug quits out.

i played her a bit and she is really fun, but, veeeery hard to use. Her 1 isnt that easy to confirm, the differences between her 1 and 2 are huge. First you have a really short and delayed reversed cone ability, next you have a quick long-range projectile. the synergy in the kit is a bit weird. And finally we have the ultimate. Choosing between 9 gods to become during 10 seconds is very, very, VERY HARD. I think that Smite designers skyrocketed the skill ceiling to another dimension

Serqet is my favourite god in the game. The Morrigan got really close to that. She is my second favourite god. I really think the Morrigan is the best if not one of the best smite god releases of all time at the moment. I just wanted a Celtic God to be in the game for awhile, but the Morrigan just exceeded that. I like playing as her even when her ultimate is down. Her 3 other abilities and passive are still really good. I'm just pleasantly surprised by the fact that this kit came to smite. Amaterasu was probably a great release for the Japanese pantheon (I joined mid season so I wasn't there), but the Morrigan I just like so much more. She also makes Loki look pathetic at trickery sometimes. Loki is still better at somethings than the Morrigan such as wave clearing, escapes, and boxing (even though he's not good at boxing either). I do feel like she is balanced. If I made a bad play, I actually got punished for it and that's why I like the Morrigan. I need to be wise about the plays I make. It's the same reason why I like Serqet. Neither God is forgiving if you screw up, but if you play them well, you will be rewarded highly. I also like Serqet's and the Morrigan's versatility (Serqet more from just an assassin standpoint and the Morrigan with her abilities and mainly her ultimate). Corrigan is self explanatory why she's versatile. Serqet, just all her abilities have more than 1 use. Her 1 can be used as an attack and escape, her 2 can be used to taunt or to make enemies attack each other, her 3 can be used as an escape or surprise invisibility engage, her ultimate can be used to hold people, anti heal, bait people to the tower combined with her 2, and can even put minions to spread the poison. I got a double kill by doing that. She's also a good chaser. Basically what I'm saying I like about Serqet and the Morrigan is the exact same reasons. They take skill to master, have that sneaky like ability, have to be careful positioned, they are versatile, and they are rewarding. I like many gods in the game, but not as much as those 2.

I saw the morrigan's trailer on twicht, in when i started seeing her moveset a and history, i was caught xD as soon as possible i downloaded smite and here i am: playing and having fun xDD now i need a lot of information to play well xD

Played an arena game against a Morrigan last night as Ares (with that sweet new skin) and...a wild Ares appeared out of nowhere, ulted me and killed me. I had no idea that was her ult. Who's bright idea was thats?

Does Morrigan's passive work only if you hit all three basic attacks? Or do you only need to hit the third for it to activate?

i had a time that i played smite never but i saw the morrigan and i was like 'holy shit that is so cool' and now i'm an active smite player again so even if she is getting broken or something i don't care mucht because i have fun in smite again
