A. Use 3 or 4 candles in that dish.
B. Add a chimney for good draught and complete combustion.
C. Place the pot on top of the chimney.
D. Put a lid on the pot to prevent heat from escaping as fast as it is being produced.

If you put a lid on the pot it will boil quicker.

I'm from Poland. Instead of oil, I used wax from the remains of graveyard candles, and I made the wick from cardboard, but unfortunately it smokes a lot.
