1 T Active Dry Yeast in 1 C Warm Water 10 minutes

Mix Dry
4 C All Purpose Flour
1/3 C Sugar
1/2 t Salt
1/2 t Nutmeg
1 t Ascorbic Acid

Mix Wet
1 Egg
1/4 C Butter

Slowly mix wet in dry ingredients, knead for 5-7 minutes, place 1/2 in greased bread pans (makes 2 small loaves), let it rise for an hour in warm room/environment.

Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 17 minutes.
