The severe stinging and scalp irritation from using double 40 volume sitting on the scalp that long would be so painful. Honestly straight scalp bleaching with a 10 or 20 vol because she is already naturally quite light, would be less painful than this 😮😬

That’s what I do to my hair! Since I started doing this my hair got longer and super healthy! I only leave it for 45 minutes and to be honest they turn a little warm tone, I’ll try to leave it for 1 hour and 15 minutes hopefully it lifts more! Thank you!

So the question is this- Is bleach with low developer worse than color with double the developer?
To me it’s simple. Put double 40 volume w/color on your finger. Then on a different finger put 10 volume w/bleach. See which one burns more.
Guarantee it’s the double 40 volume.

I always ask my new hairstylist to do this because I’m naturally ash blonde, and they always go to bleach so that they can get it done in 20 minutes or less. Frustrates me because my hair can highlift easily. with just a little extra time and a lot less damage.

So did you use high lift tint with 40vol then use another with 40vol again, and leave it on for over an hour each time ? Surely that can’t be good for the hair ? I have a lighter sliver / baby white hair 👩🏻‍🦳 colour . Am a dark brown I have bleach with 20vol for 60 mins then I have a toner mix half/ half light/dark silver mixed with 10vol leave it to process and my hair is as long as the hair extensions naturally and very healthy. I always thought double processing with 40vol with anything would ruin hair . Definitely need more explanation please

I just had a guest and she had a really all over platinum blonde before and then she wanted to switch to doing foils for a partial and it left an orange brassy ring around. But she did not come back to it and I told her it would take two times to lift to be equally as bright blonde.. the first time she was complaining, the front was too dark because of the foils. She still has not shown me any type of photo of inspiration.. she came in today and I did a partial foil with a lot of little sections to give her the most Max blonde and when I used a little bit of toner, it grabbed in the front and it made it look like a grayish blue. I will wash out. She said she still see some orange pieces. … I wish there was a way I could send you a photo to see what your thoughts were on how I can correct this on Sunday.

The actual real hair that was bleached is so spotty! U can easily see the discoloration in her real hair, but its hidden by the fake hair!

How did you lift it that high. Formula??? hour and 15 minutes, double 40? Using 40% and she still has hair, no blisters or broken hair???? You were telling us the secret?? It is gorgous, but did she get her extensions back after the hair broke off???

I use 10/1 on my hair, I have grey roots and salt and pepper at the back of my hair, the colour at the front and at the sides are always a lovely colour, I want to get the back of my hair the same as the front without using bleach, is this possible if I use Ingora Royal 12/19 1/2 ratio ?
