I find it deeply uncomfortable that Lisa ultimately marries Millhouse. He obsesses over her to an unhealthy degree, and it's pretty stomach churning that even in a farcical comedy like The Simpsons, someone as smart as Lisa wouldn't see those red flags.

To me Nelson’s a good guy as an adult. If you think about it, Nelson had like the worst childhood, but his true nature is tough but decent. I imagine as an adult, he’s successful, with blue collar roots. Like running garages or landscaping businesses. Oh…. and it’s funny that Milhouse is a loser even when he’s a muscle man.

Lisa should have ended up with Nelson instead of Milhouse
Although that moment with her daughter when she realises how much she looks up to her was pretty nice
That and Lisa’s first word still makes me happy cry, her relationship with Bart is really wonderful, the ending of the hockey episode is adorable
Same as with Homer, their moments are some of the absolute best in the series! The saxophone, the truth about Jebediah Springfield, football days, it’s a near endless list
And Marge saying that Lisa can be sad is so sweet, Marge and Lisa’s relationship is so underrated

I also don't like Lisa ending up with Millhouse there's something disturbing about the idea of her never liking him and him basically wearing her down. It says oh don't worry boys if you wait her out for 40 years eventually she'll take you. And that's just not a good look.

But imagine this: Nelson finds out that Lisa’s been having a rough time in college. Getting picked on, stressing out while trying to do too much all at once. So he finds little ways to cheer her up, like helping her study, or doing chores for her.

I love how in the Simpsons canon, Homer was an astronaut, Marge was Mayor Of Springfield, Maggie was a rock star, Bart was Chief Justice Of The Supreme Court and Lisa was president.
