Over 90% of the high-altitude Drakensberg Grasslands are used for livestock grazing. WWF is ensuring conservation approaches integrate the needs of local communities who depend on the land for their livelihoods. Sustainable livestock grazing must be part of a new kind of National Park in the NE Cape.
