Awesome anatomy of both a normal CFL and abnormal or absent CFL! Thanks for posting.

The gulley under the malleolus and the lack of a visible structure tensing under the skin when tilting the talus actually suggests injury of the peroneus brevis tendon.
The actual CF ligament runs almost horizontal from the tip of the fibula medially and can hardly ever be seen (though sometimes felt).
Of course CF/ATF injuries and peroneus injuries often are concomitant.

Its been about a month since I sprained my ankle I was diagnosed with high grade to complete tear of CFL. Now I walk normally and going upstairs downstairs normally and drive normally. When I did this test to my self there was resistance and little pain.

What do you think of my condition? did CFL heal itself??
