Star Trek: Discovery is the seventh series set in the Star Trek universe. It would be nice to see Discovery and the federation going beyond the galaxy's edge.

You convinced me to do deeper dives into the Trek Universe by reading the companion literature. It'll probably really assist when I create content! Thanks!

The Glenn wasn't attacked it jumped and coming out of the jump hit a hawking radiation wall and inverted. Completely unpredictable.

What a fascinating & mind blowing mess of intriguing ideas! What, however, leads one to think the Federation is the only advanced civilization in their “realm” who discovered or accessed mycelial networks? What of the Romulans, the Borg, the Dominion, the Cardassians, Klingons, Iconians, & countless others? What if the hyper advanced A.I. threat referred to in Star Trek Picard? I haven’t read those books, & so wonder if any other concurrent pre-mycelium transgalactic organization also accessed those networks? Also, any relationship between the kosmic mycelium & fluid space? Gosh, Commander Brie, so many questions! Thanks for your insights.

Hi Brie. So good to hear one of your well thought out presentations. As a creepy 65 yo man you are my favourite Trek Central personality. Glad to see you back.

Star Trek Online explained it best imo. The micelial network connects all universes and dimensions together. In the game the Elachi are native to the networks original dimension so they can effectively traverse the galaxy in many dimensions/universes.

Your videos have great information! As a visual learner, I would like more images/clips shown about what you're talking about. I haven't seen everything, so I don't even know how to visuallise some of what you're talking about. You explain things very well, though! Thanks for the video!

Why does everything have to be a multiverse now? ...it really just seems like an excuse to have 20 different Spider-mans all be "the real thing" within the "cinematic universe" and every author can have his own take on it and no one needs to pay attention to things like "lore" or "canon" that came before because none of it matters anymore anyway.
To Authors this may seem like an awesome idea, because now they can work on any franchise without being a fan or knowing more than the basics, but long term all these universes will only be a mess of half assed reboots... like Terminator.
And no one cares anymore because the moment you say the original stuff doesn't matter anymore because it is just one variant of many, then no variant really matters long term, why even get invested in the next take on Batman if there are already 20 variants of the Batmobile? ...so for Star Trek, is there just a bunch of forgettable reboots ahead now?

That said, i can see how this may seem interesting at first glance, but the show is called Star Trek, not Sliders ...in Space.
It may be temporarily fun to look at "what if" stories where we take a peek into a mirror universe, or make fun of Worf suddenly being married to Troi and stuff... but i'm interested what happens in THIS universe... the more this multiverse door gets kicked open, the less i care about any new content overall, because its all just temporary takes that will get replaced the moment the next story pops up.

I mean they already did exactly that with the JJ Movies with that "soft reboot but we got prime universe Spock, it's all still connected!", just without the Mushroom Network, do you think 20 years from now anyone will still care about those flicks?

Even freaking Ninja Turtles is a multiverse by now, they even had crossover episodes. This is just an excuse to have endless amounts of reboots and pretend like it is still part of the same thing... and they are ALL doing it.
