The possibilities are endless! Experiencing drugs without taking them. Experiencing psychosis, schizophrenia, etc without having the mental illness. Jumpstart getting out of the depths of depression. Recreating someone’s reality. Temporary loss of some function, like sight, which can create a whole new spin on going to a dine in the dark restaurant. I’m going to hold out until the consciousness of my pet can be experienced, or a hunting lioness!

Hank was talking about all these beneficial and benevolent uses of the research while I was imagining dystopian futures with light-based population control and available memory manipulation and the creation of advanced military sleeper agents.

Let's hope this technology only works on rats.
