Khan Im very appreciative of what you are doing. I had a horrible HORRIBLE math teacher last year and barely got a good mark in my class. I had a big test that my whole area had to do, and by watching your videos is how I studied. I got an A on those tests (science and math!) and I really do believe it is because of you. King = Kilo 1000
Henry = Hecto 100
Died = Deka 10
By = base unit (meter/liter/gram)
Drinking = Deci 1/10
Chocolate = Centi 1/100
Milk = Milli 1/1000

Daily use is more simple, noone uses all the prefixes, that's a school thing... The doctor just asks the nurse for 10 milli-liters instead of 1 centi-liter or 100 ml instead of a deci-liter. Noone says a bucket holds 1 dekaliter, it's just 10 liters. Or 100l (hectoliter is RARELY used by old ppl) or 1000l (a metric weight ton btw) instead of a Kilo-Liter... For distances you only use millimeter, centi- and kilo. For weight its just milligramm -> gramm -> kg Noone uses Hectogramm, it's just 100g.
