Raspberry Pi Vs Arduino Uno: Which Board is Better for You?
Показать описание
In this video we take a look at the Raspberry Pi vs Arduino and which one is best for certain tasks.
These two devices are often compared of being quite similar but in fact are very different.
Both the devices have their pros and cons these are covered in the video. We will briefly list some highlights below.
The Arduino is known as a microcontroller board, these boards are designed to run small programs and interact with devices. They don’t feature an operating system but are able to interact with sensors, devices and execute code a lot faster.
The Arduino is very barebones so you will find that I don’t have any networking support, USB ports or anything you will find in a typical computer.
The Raspberry Pi on the other hand is a mini computer and needs an operating system in order to run. It features everything you will find in a normal computer is very cheap. This makes it perfect for cool little projects and stuffing around with.
Since the Raspberry Pi features everything a computer does you get networking straight out of the box. This means you can setup your Pi so you can remotely access it from in the house or whilst on the go.
One of the biggest things you will need to keep in mind when choosing between the Raspberry Pi and the Arduino is what projects you plan to do with it. The Arduino is better suited for electronic projects whilst the Raspberry Pi is better for software projects.
I hope this video has helped clear up a lot of questions on the Raspberry Pi vs Arduino debate. If you like the video and would love to stay up to date, then please make sure subscribe to the channel!
