I'm currently using an S23 ultra the technology to make face ID in the hole punch exist apple is just refusing to use it and when they do they'll probably say it's some sort of "new" feature

On the iPhone 14 pro and the dynamic island is so cool you can interact with it unlike the older notches on the previous models and it’s honestly no different when than the other notches when using your phone you don’t even notice it after a while because your not paying attention to it

The notch provides sound and a camera, it isn’t useless. (The sound up there also makes it easier to do phone calls.)

I quite honestly love the notch it really in a way makes the phone unique and don’t forget about all of the sensors inside it so it would be quite difficult for underdisplay faceid

Also the reason we still got the notch while android doesn’t is Face ID uses 3D while android has no face scanning or 2d that doesn’t need all the sensors inside the notch

I do want the top and bottom Bezel on my phone so that the notch/punch hole doesn't interfere plus phones without notch or hole feels so premium to me

All these YouTubers don’t realize the notch needs that space for Face ID, and it doesn’t use android Face ID which just matches your face up with a photo, the iPhone one has a dot projector, infrared, tons of software stuff etc.
