Got to admire Shang for how he was in the mountains. He'd just lost his father in battle, didn't have any time to grief at all, composed himself in front of his platoon like a true leader, showed no fear and fights those who did it. Quite underappreciated depth to a Disney character that I feel is overlooked.

it's only now that i realized that he was literally so ready to _let mulan die in the snow on her own_ like even the dude in blue( i haven't watched mulan in a while so idk his name) was so surprised he would do something like that. had mulan not found the strength to get up again, she would've literally died in the cold on her own without her family ever knowing.
