It's never about the weight but the weight against size. Large irregular sized lures are difficult to cast even if they weight more let's say your hat, even it weighs over 200g. In contrary you can easily cast a 2g drop weight (just the weight itself) since it's so small there's no air resistance.
With the same jig hook, use smaller lure will help, lures are short with no tails are so much easier to cast. It's physics guys, you learn that in middle school.

I think you labeled the title of your video wrong. I don't see you explaining how to cast light lures with a baitcaste reel. I see you having difficulty casting a light lure though. It's pretty tough to cast light lures with a baitcaster anyway. They are better with heavier lures. But, now on the market, there are BFS baitcast reels designed to cast light lures. They have really shallow spools and are wiffled out with holes to make the spool really light. You might want to get one to add to your arsenal.
