Why even have the GFS model when the Euro is always the most reliable? I have this issue with these wx meterology amateurs that are giving wx 4cast and not emphasizing the fact that one of the models is not as accurate and the other is the most reliable and the one that makes the most sense. Why continue to use a model that for what Ive seen so far since Ive kept up with the wx models, never seems to be the one that meteorologist go by? Cause Ive seen on social media where people are saying ice for this place, snow for this place, rain for the other and really not emphasizing which model they are using or inform people that they shouldn't take these at face value. Imo I think if you're going to give wx updates then you should give info on what you know to be the most accurate. If you're going to show the other models then you should do as James Spann does and let people know which is the more reliable wx 4cast model. I love seeing people wanting to learn meterology, atmospheric science, and wanting to help people in their everyday lives with the weather. But don't go on social media and say "Big Ice storm gonna affect the deep south. Ice in Alabama, S.Texas, even as far south as southern Mississippi! PANDEMONIUM!
👋😫👋" Then you have people congesting all the grocery stores buying up all the milk and bread! WHY MILK AND BREAD!!?? 🤣. Anyway, just wanted to vent on the social media junkies.
