KING JOSEPHINE - First Album, Go Fund Me

In the last years we embarked on a musical journey, nurturing demos, giving them life, and dreaming of the day they'd grow beyond their raw forms. Those melodies and verses have been silent witnesses to the rollercoaster that life sometimes becomes. From the depths of depression, the profound pain of losing dear ones, the weight of heartaches, to the introspective journey of understanding my Black identity, these songs are not just compositions but my personal reflections put to tune.

THE BLUEPRINT:
The upcoming album is a culmination of this journey. It's a collection of ten songs, each narrating a chapter of the experiences I've lived and the emotions I've felt. We are in the process of applying to public music fundings - but unfortunately even if we get them, it wouldn’t be enough to cover all costs.

WHERE WE ARE AT:
We've self-funded, recorded, and had our first two tracks beautifully mixed, and
masterfully mastered. "Sweet Craving," our debut single, has already warmed hearts across Germany, the Netherlands, the US, and Portugal.  "Shitty Wine" recently came out and now we hope to secure more funds to mix and master the remaining eight demos.

YOUR CRUCIAL ROLE:
And this is where you, our supporters, come into play. Each contribution will bring us a step closer to covering the remaining costs and building sustainable structures, team and community around KING JOSEPHINE

Our initial goal is to reach €10,600. This vital sum will provide the foundation for our project:

- Mixing and Mastering

- Artwork and Graphics

- Studio Rental

- Musician and Sound Engineer Fees

- Music Distribution and Licensing

- Guest Musicians

- Three Music Videos

THE FINISH LINE:
Additionally to the album and music video costs we would use extra money for Goal 3: Making the 2024 summer debut tour more accessible and invest in promotion, community outreach and PR.
