TIMBERLAND PREMIUM Boot Review | WHY Are Timbs So Popular?

preview_player
Показать описание

The Timberland Premium Boot is a handsome and iconic design, and it’s built well. The quadruple stitching, Primaloft insulation, thick rubber heel, and padded leather collar are all designed to go the distance.

The biggest drawback is the cemented sole construction, which likely won't hold up to tough working conditions like a Goodyear welted boot.

I mentioned a few alternatives to the Timberland Premium 6" Waterproof Boot when it comes to working applications. You can find those below:

To avoid the keeping them clean problem with nubuck, Timberland also offers these boots in several full grain leathers.

I work in the trades. You typically dont see anyone wear Timbs as work boots anymore because most job sites and companies require steel-toe boots. I've been wearing JK and Thorogood moc toe steel toe for years. Back in the late 90s - early 2000s the thing to do was wear your timbs on the street and when they got dirty and creased you would wear them to work and finish them off😂.

Timberland PRO boots are better for work. The Premiums I use to shovel snow in the winter. They keep my feet warm and dry and great traction. My pairs last me 10 years. Good video.

I like these boots a lot . I use them a on the beach in my house in Tofino British Columbia. Today I used them in a driving rain storm walking the beach traversing boulders in the salt water to get back to the main beach. They kept my feet warm and were comfortable walking seven kilometres.I don’t know where I bought them in town but I am grateful for the salesperson who convinced me to buy them.

Grabbed some of these in the fall. I wear them when it's wet out in colder weather. Definitely do t wear them in heavy snow but they look good, are warm, and water resistant

I like the boots, great review and video on them, thanks. --- (You need to get your microphone separated from the table, it makes an annoying THUMP every time you set the boots down or hit the table with your hand.)

Cool video man thanks so much I appreciate it. I like the thorogood boots but I think the bull run has a stich down construction. I've always liked the look of tims but they do get dirty so quickly with that kind of leather anyway all the best from Northern California

Can you make another video of the difference between the regular premium 6-inch boots and the 6-inch fur lined version in terms of comfort wise regardless of them being the exact same?

What is all the crap that Timberland can't be resoled? Timberland are one of the best boots to resole, because it has a midsole that is glued to the foot bed and the upper and the outsole is glued to the midsole....all you need is heat(heat gun or hair drier) and a pair of pliers to pull the outsole off and then go to your local cobbler to glue on new outsole for like 50-60 bucks.
P.S.: I discovered your channel a week ago and I love it...keep up the good work.

Eh, it's not what I'd call high quality footwear but it's about as good as the stuff Thursday puts out and certainly is more comfortable and better looking. Also being insulated and fully waterproof is a thing that can be beneficial sometimes. Has a place if you're looking for a beater pair to wear in the snow or very wet winter weather and look good while doing it.
