That's true, I didn't have a father and my coach is like my father figure, I'm not close to being like the best in the gym, but he focuses on us all improving and he has given me very useful life advice, the best coach I have ever had

My coach always tells people in sparring to hit as hard as they can because that’s what it would be like in an actual fight. He has little respect and it’s very annoying because I know sparring is meant for technique and to learn, not to hurt.

I do karate and mma and sensei/coach cares about all fighters and sometimes does ficus on pathetic ones who have fights or tournaments

my coach wants everyone to fight the same style he's russian but still im more of a dancing fighter and tbh not everyone is build for some 1-2 & 1-1-2 kind of training (even though I'm not bad at it) but rather some more combinations.

Yeah i felt that was true very soon i had a sub coach who made me like 7 times better in one session and my main one because of one close lost to someone heavier and more experienced than me seems to use me to train the one with more "natural talent"
