With the 2023 Washington State Legislative Session officially underway, our monthly Government Affairs Council meetings are a great way to stay informed of upcoming legislation that may affect your business.

At our January GAC meeting, we were joined by Carolyn Logue of CA Logue Public Affairs, our shared lobbyist with the South Sound Chambers of Commerce Legislative Coalition. Carolyn keeps us updated weekly with lengthy reports of the many bills filed during the session.

At the meeting we also heard updates from Pierce County Council Member Dave Morell and from City of Sumner Community Development Director Ryan Windish.

City of Puyallup updates came from Mayor Dean Johnson and from Meredith Neal, Economic Development Manager.
