What data is used from what device? I expected distance data to be sent to my watch but my watch was never indicating the same distance as the treadmill (club platinum). Long story short, I want my proper distance, heart rate, elevation data saved. I was kind of expecting a nearly $10k treadmill to make this work right.

Concerning the gym kit .. I have problem with the elliptical cross trainer that the distance sent to apple watch not exactly shown in the screen and it less for about 2 km

Do I have to download the life fitness app to connect?

Is there a minimum requirement? Because with my AW Series 3 + cellular it‘s not working. Same with my friends AW Series 3.

But AW Series 5 with cellular from another friend is working just fine.
