You can type 1/3 (or any non-terminating fraction) in the next available line in Desmos, then highlight it, copy and paste it into the base in the log function. Thanks for doing some Desmos videos. It is quickly replacing the TI calculators at our college.

Since y is the exponent of b in the inverse equation, I made it negative then flipped the base from 1/2 to 2
-y=log_2(x).
