I watched it last night. Thankfully, before I read or saw anything about it. It was such a bonkers and fun watch. Mark spoiled a bit by saying Skargard was more Janet Leigh. I think a good amount of the fun was based on my lack of knowledge.

This is one of my favourite horror movies from recent years. It's pretty good at surprising me as a viewer and some of the cinematography, especially the flashback is really delightful.

I liked it. Was unexpectedly hilarious AND tense. Above all, it was different.

I loved this movie. This is the best horror movie of the year for me. I especially loved the first part of the movie that was centred around Tess, that part was genuinely creepy and I was really scared for her. The rest of the film after that was just insane and I couldn’t believe how crazy it got. What a ride! Go see it.

I watched this last night. I thought it was alright. Its strength is the way it keeps you on your toes by taking the plot into unexpected places so it's not very predictable. But there are some choices made by the characters that are a bit too stupid along with a few too many conveniences.

Also, the monster design isn't anything special and I've seen the same thing several times in horror movies by now.

Great movie from start to finish. It's clear from the comments, the second half didn't work for everyone. But the stuff that's being considered 'silliness' is all underpinning interesting and intelligent concepts and is also good fun. Worth going along with it.

I’ve been waiting for this since early September! Insane release gap. Between this, everything everywhere all at once, and top gun maverick, we’ve had some wild theatre experiences this year. The ending is such a sublime blend of comedy and tragedy.

It was alright, nice idea but I don’t think it was executed quite as well as it could.

2nd half is like a comedy version of .Rec but it’s never really that scary.

Initial interactions with the random stranger in the house was the best part
