Today's video is all about sigil magick and magic symbols that you can use in your witchcraft practice or spellwork.
We will answer questions like what is a sigil, how to use sigils in spells, and of course, how to make sigils. I want to introduce you to the basics of sigil magic by diving a bit into the history, give you some inspiration for sigil drawing techniques, share my personal intuitive way to work with magic sigils, and last but not least, discuss how to charge a sigil and how to activate it. And if that is even necessary. And of course, this wouldn't be the witches' cookery, if there wasn't a bit of fun kitchen witchery in here too - we are baking a healthy bread scored with a sigil for health and growth. When I was younger, I began using the rune to write note to my friends in class. That was until a teacher took one of the notes and read it. He took me on and taught me that the runes were more than just an alphabet. Over the years I have used them in divination and magick as well as writing my notes. I even have a personal combined rune that I have used since I was 16, now 48. ❤ I love sigil magick.

I made a sigil for self love/healing then activated it with.. self love, *cough cough*. I cried so much afterwards and let myself sit in that space, allowed myself comfort and safety. It was actually extremely helpful and the moment that I think really kickstarted my journey of being much kinder to myself.

As a child I made sigils without realizing what they were. One for physical strength, mental strength, and then one for a balance of both.

Sigil Magick was one of the first practices I was able to start incorporating into my craft as a closeted witchling! I find drawing sigils is really a beautiful way to allow yourself to relax, especially if you include mediation into the the practice before you start. A lovely video as always, I love learning from you!

Sigils are my favorite type of magic workings! Being a closeted green word witch, sigils are easy to quickly write on a napkin and either burned or ripped up and tossed, and I often anoint them with lavender oil. The method I use is the first you mentioned. In fact, I find the creation of sigils to be a fine meditation.

Loved this video. Thanks. I use sigils as well. One way was when we got new flooring I painted sigils on the subfloors before the installation.

I also used to have severe foot pain. So I composed a sigil to aid in this. Then when I was hiking I found an old leather shoe sole. I took it home and drew my sigil on it in with a white charcoal stick and placed it on my healing altar. These days my foot pain is almost nonexistent.

Update~ I made 2 sigils: one for fater subliminal results and one for love and beauty in my life. I designed the sub one with the sigil wheel and the other one just by using symbols I associate with those themes

I make sigils to protect my property by painting them on rocks that I then place at the corners of my property, face down. I sometimes write them in pencil on my paper money to return to me, for prosperity magic…stir them into my hot drinks….drip them in white wax (it turns clear) on the sidewalk where people will walk over them and disperse them, or the sun will melt them…. So many ways to use sigils! I use the chaos approach of making, charging, then forgetting them….

I purchased dried eggwhite( powdered) at a local witchy shop and use that to put protective sigil on my doors. It's invisible after a bit, but I know it's been drawn there and active.
