La florida Capella is a young Italian baroque ensemble, with the intention of bringing to life hidden treasures of 17th/18th century from Italy and the Habsburg empire, taking into account historical performance practice at the highest level.
The ensemble, founded by the South Tyrolean musicians Marian Polin
(ensemble director) and Marco Kerschbaumer (baroque violin) in 2020 has been awarded first place in the international H. I. F. Biber Competition in 2021.
Concerts at the Innsbruck Early Music Festival mark the ensemble's musical debut and will be followed by invitations from Tage Alter Musik Herne.
