I never thought i can look all day at a girl making the kick and bass with her mouth

As a current faculty member of the voice faculty at FSU, I can say that this group is reflective of what these girls do BY THEMSELVES. They have no faculty conductor, but do it ALL on their own. This is not a class for credit; many of these young women are taking applied voice lessons, and some are music majors.  All are held to a very high standard at this fabulous music school. But what you see is the result of THEIR dedication, not someone leading them, or guiding them, or whipping them to do it. That's what impresses me. Not many young Americans are that driven, that passionate any more. Thanks for letting me rant! And I'll claim as my own students the one in the middle standing up and the one just right of her. Great job, ladies!

The girl doing bass needs more recognition I don't think people realize how hard that is as a female.

To all the haters: that lead singer is my older sister. I am so proud of everything shes ever done. She doesnt think shes all that or anything, shes getting into the music. For someone as passionate about music as she is, along with the rest of the AcaBelles, singing is like theatre. Like playing the part of the song. Think what you want. But I am so incredibly proud of her and the rest of the AcaBelles. Ive been listening to her sing for as long as I can possibly remember, going to her high school chorus concerts and just watching from around the corner to her practicing. Shes worked for this and its still not what shes all about. I love you Sissy, you're great and Im proud to be your little sister <3

People don't understand just how hard it is to get this many people in harmony at once..especially in a Capella. There are a few hiccups along the way here but overall this is a VERY beautiful version. Very well done ladies.

This is absolutely beautiful. Better than the original version. The leader has a gorgeous voice, and I have some serious eyebrow envy. I agree, the beat boxer killed it. She is amazing.

It's so great that a lot of you have critiques on their performance. I know when they put this up, they were thinking "Man, I hope we get some awesome feedback from random anonymous people on the internet. They know everything."

I stumbled upon this thanks to a segment on CNN. This was really beautiful.

The lead singer was particularly amazing, every time she hits that high note, I just wanted to kiss her!! It was that good!! Well done!!

I just saw Moulin Rouge, the Broadway tour, and was reminded of how much I loved this version of the song Royals when I first found it 9 years ago. I heard this version first (before even knowing who Lorde is) and this is still my favorite. Genuine, sincere and on key. Fantastic! thank you... and thank the rouge for reminding me~
