The Truth About Emirates First Class Game Changer

Does Emirates have the world’s best first class suite? Maybe, at least for solo travelers. The so-called Game Changer is a revolutionary onboard product that Emirates rightly marketing like crazy. The question is - should they be marketing it like crazy?🤔

Out of thousands of first class seats in their fleet, only 54 are Game Changers. In other words, this represents less than 1% of their total first class seats. The vast majority of their 777s feature an older first class suite which is fantastic, but not quite on this level.

So how can you tell if your aircraft features this seat? Before booking or upgrading, use @expertflyer (not an ad lol) and click “create seat alert”. Enter your flight details and once the seat map appears, make sure there are only six seats in the cabin. If it has eight seats, the old first class will likely be operating on your flight. In general, flights to London Stansted, Brussels, Geneva, Nice, Tokyo Haneda and a few others have higher odds of getting this seat. Happy flying!
