Years ago my toddler daughter started using "Shut up!" A phrase we did not say to each other in our home. Then one day a commercial came on TV and as I picked up the remote to mute the ad, I told the TV to "shut up." Busted! 😅

Yeah.... All my children are mini-mes, and it's not great. There's nothing better for building self-awareness and humility than having children.

Yeah I had that realization 25 years ago when my then 3 year old son flipped off somebody that cut us off and repeated the phrase where the hell did you get your license out of a cracker Jack box😂 they listen to everything

My toddler repeating "fine fine fine" when I tell him to hurry up caught me off guard 😂 exactly what I do to my husband when he's telling me to leave something for later

😂 It's so true!! As parents, we're imperfect people, and it's easy to go on guilt trips for being 'mirrors'...however, don't forget where kids get it from when you witness them doing a kindness ❤
