When my ex boyfriend was in training for 3 weeks in LA for the Pa national guard his sgts and officers gave him alcohol to “cope.” Knowing he was underage at 19 they didn’t care. Disgusting. Never had he ever been deployed to war. The police knew he was abusive to me, but did nothing. My guess is since he’s a e4 in the army. Now he’s becoming a sheriff deputy for the county while working as a security guard at a college. Nothing will change until they hold these abuser accountable. It feels like I lost and they won. He will end up abusive another women.

The military literally tells you to drink to deal with PTSD and even provides alcohol, when I deployed they gave me a card that was probably issued since WW2 that told us to "Drink and drink plenty" to deal with the stress.

"Former Army attorney on military's domestic violence crisis" reminds us that violence is the terrible consequence of terribly hungry people misbehaving terribly like "Jan621" Insurrectionist DJT and motivates us to redouble our efforts to "Convince It Forward" to stop being hangry in hopes of stopping the "Mourning In America."

Relationships gone women are crying foul because they were not the chosen. An one night stand is what it is.

would like for you to cover and provide information for the male and or female soldier or command staff that are the ones that are being physically, verbally, and emotionally abused by the non military spouse...and deathly afraid to say anything, report to anyone, including counselors that they are being victimized. What about this large but overlooked area of abuse happening in all areas of the military??

Time to allow cannabis. If alcohol is fueling or making the mental health situation worse its time to allow and even encourage cannabis. A sober eagle scout type can easily turn into an alcoholic just from typical military job stress which doesnt involve combat.
