pls make use of the I2C protocol the rfid reader can do SPI but also I2C because I2C is easier pls use it

As per your tutorial I tried this project and used laptop power, tried with 3 mfrc522 board but on each case the RFID on-board led does not glow. I have checked the connections several times and getting output voltage from nodemcu 3.3v as per the multimeter. Can you guide me where is the problem?
