I was only going to say that one small thing but... I'm an 18 year old kid from Massachusetts. I may not know much about the world but I do know that you are a great person. Many of us have grown up too quickly for our liking. My parents got divorced when I was young. My Mom and I have always had just enough to get by. I know that experience has made me a better man. You are dead on when you mention providing for the one you love. Thank you again for this wonderful song. It makes us all think.

dear Adam,
I was 19 year old when I decided to leave my house after years of tears. I went away with my boyfriend and we lived in a small house, with one bad, one table and two chairs...there was nothing more and sometimes my boyfriend couldn't eat to make ME eat. He has a bad disease and sometimes he lost memory completely. I decided to became a nurse and, one day, we will live in a "real" house and he will heal. I'm sure. You helped me telling him..."please don't leave quiet yet".

Obviously this is only a part of my scars, but what I want to say is:
1....it doesn't matter. I consider myself one of the luckyest person in the world. I found an incredible guy, I found the possibility to study again and I'm so thankful I could cry.

this song brought tears in my eyes! I was just listening to it and were thinking that it must have a story behind it ! you must have been in this scene/situation to be able to world it so nicely... then I googled it and booom! Adam him self telling the story, Thanks for sharing this.
