You can also view it as area of two triangles with similar height h. Triangle 1 has A = (b1*h)/2 while triangle 2 has A = (b2*h)/2. Combining the two areas, we got A = [(b1*h + b2*h)]/2 or A = [(b1 + b2)h]/2.

Hey bprp can u do a video on Gaussian reduction and Cayley Hamilton theorem for matrices and rank of matrix? These are all non conventional methods of finding inverse of a matrix and you will not regret them
