If A and B have particles which are partially entangled, does that mean the results of their measurements won’t perfectly correlate ( abs(entanglement) <1)?

Also, the state-vector |psi> = sqrt(.8)|ud> - sqrt(.2)|du> Is partially entangled - the correlation/entanglement value is 0.52 in z, however in x and y it’s -0.8.
Does the degree of entanglement depend on the axis along which the spin is measured?
