Isabella Rossellini never said that “fame destroyed her mother” during this interview. On the contrary, she spoke very affectionately about growing up with her mother, the super famous film star, Ingrid Bergman, and how it was wonderful to have a daughter who was protective towards herself. Please change this title!

As is usually the norm these days, this is a totally misleading title, in order to gain count views. Rosselini says nothing about "fame destroying her mother". Only that "it was a high price to pay for fame" as far as the lack of privacy is concerned and several other disadvantages. Please change the title.

I have watched many movies featuring Ingrid Bergman and many interviews featuring Isabella Rossellini. It is impressive that Isabella has her mother's most subtle facial expressions and mannerisms. I have never seen so much resemblance in anybody else. I love how Isabella pays great attention when people speak to her and how seriously she takes this interaction with others. She is so gentle, so tender, so pleasant. Her mother was very Swedish, very direct, very intelligent, and genuine. Two very admirable and fascinating women.

I would watch Isabella Rossellini in just about anything. It’s not surprising that she’s so subdued and humble in real life. I can’t imagine someone with so much onscreen power being anything else.

The late great Swedish and part German actress Ingrid Bergman was not only beautiful on the outside, but beautiful on the inside as well, a beautiful soul! She had great talent and loved acting and had lost both her parents at a young age! She showed true determination and grit and had great passion for life and was spirited! I thought Hollywood and society here treated her terribly and were way too judgemental when she had an affair with Roberto Rossellini whom she ended up marrying and had three children with him, twin daughters and a son. The public confused her image on the big silver screen esp as Saint Joan of Arc with a real life woman of great passion! And she told them so! Good for her, bravo Ingrid! May she rest in peace~ Have enjoyed Isabella's films as well, like mother like daughter in more ways than one! ❤❤
