Super helpful. I find that the sound of E is the one that I confuse the most with O when spelling. Also, "ouch" 1:40: :D

Okay, now the exercise makes sense! When I read through the book I was a little confused when I got to the exercise, but now I understand :3
Edit: I played along as I didn't remember the names. I got two wrong. I wrote Anaes (with the trema of course) because the 'i' and 'e' are confusing, I also wrote Guneviene because I couldn't decide on 'u' or 'e' and I chose incorrectly. I got the others correct :3

I took the plunge and purchased the ebook for the pronunciation course, I cannot believe how much I've learned already and I'm only up to lesson 6! I absolutely loved the little spelling test, not writing E when you pronounce I in french is a very hard habit for my brain to break but it was great fun and a fantastic way to reinforce the letters in real speak rather than just learning the alphabet! I think this might be my favourite lesson so far 🙂
