Let's Talk About: Root Faction Flowcharts!

Hello! Welcome to Let's Talk About, an itinerant series where I just wanna talk about something that isn't a teach, or review, or a specific game, or a monthly State of the Hobby... in this case, I wanna talk about the two different Root Faction Flowcharts I've made! I'll get into where they came from (and why), the process I used to make them, I'll run through them once each for myself, AND I'll talk about my favorite little spots!

This was my entry to the 60-Second Root competition to help celebrate the Marauder Expansion, wherein I confess my undying love for the game in the form of prose, referencing the aforementioned flowchart and what it means for a game to inspire _this_ much creativity in its fans:

Speaking of undying love and creativity, here are the eight exercises I wrote for trumpet inspired by the eight factions currently in print (the rats and badgers will have to be added soon!):

Okay, now I'm just being ridiculous. This was ANOTHER creative project that sort of lit my brain on fire for one weekend... I made a spoof on a different song from a different Broadway musical for each of the currently published factions... I know... usually this is when someone says "get a hobby" but clearly I already have one...
