Jeremy Hunt: Boris Johnson will be a great prime minister

'I am delighted for the country that Boris has become prime minister,' said Jeremy Hunt after the Brexit hardliner Boris Johnson overwhelmingly defeated him in the race to lead the Conservative party. Hunt went on to praise his rival, saying Johnson 'puts a smile on people's face'.

Like him or hate him, I think we can all agree that Boris may have a limited run as PM. How long before a vote of no confidence is called for? His constituency isn't fully happy with him either, so defending his seat is even going to be a challenge. It will be interesting to see what happens, and when - popcorn, anyone?
