Cornbread is the perfect side for BBQ

Back when we visited Terry Black's BBQ in Texas, aside from the INSANE meats, we also got our first taste of some Texas Cornbread!

Corn bread is one of the best sides to a meal you can ever have. Great with honey too.

That's sweet cornbread you gotta try it the Appalachian way White cornmeal mix it up then pour hot veggie oil into the batter it'll sizzle as you stir it up put it back into the cast iron skillet and pop it into the oven at 425 degree's until it's a deep golden color on the top turn it out over a plate cut it and the bottom of the cornbread will have developed a fried crust.

Needs butter and honey! Ooo, you should try corn casserole. One of the vets at my job made one for a holiday dinner, and i loved it!! I didnt care if it was warm or cold. Its like a sweet cornbread but a softer texture.

I really love your videos. Also the ones where the boys' school students try different foods. Cornbread, biscuits, barbecue are all pretty common foods in the US, I am surprised that there are no equivilants in the UK. Yes I know that biscuit = cookie. But a US biscuit is flour, fat, liquid mixed together and so surprised that there is no equivilant in the UK. They do not deep fry chicken in the UK? No KFC? Keep these videos coming guys, they make me appreciate US food all the more.
