Few golf swings have more unanimous praise than that of Nelly Korda. On the back of her historic run, our own Luke Kerr-Dineen explains the myth-busting secret to Nelly's swing and what makes it so effective.

Golf Digest is the worldwide authority on how to play, what to play and where to play.

Lots of people in the comments, "She CaN't FAdE!, " Well apparently you don't need to be able to fade LOL.

Take note that Nelly's trail elbow is more extended on the downswing rather then bent and tucked in that most instructors want you to do. You can have a good swing without conventional methods like this.

Nelly is so graceful and accurate… still so smooth and hopefully she won’t have back injuries … Go Nelly!

Not playing at that level myself I can’t say for certain. I do believe she has a smooth consistent swing. Enjoy watching her play.

J'adore le swing et le comportement de Nelly Korda !
C'est l'un des plus beaux swings de tout le golf, mais je suis trop vieux pour tenter de l'imiter !!! ⛳👏💕

A beautiful, personally crafted athletic swing!
On the head movement, Millar also acknowledged in the same video clip that was omitted, that Jack Nicklaus tilted his head slightly as a trigger but kept it still. ( believing in a still head) This is certainly not like the exaggerated examples of amateurs given in this video. Also, in her own words to Tiger and Rory, she hits down on the ball rather than up like most tour players.
She is a gift to the game of golf!

Just a weekend player here but I'm sure It's keeping your head over or behind the ball that's more important than the movement over the ball

Min 2.... So you're telling me that bulging muscle in her neck means it's free flowing... No... dude. no....

It's also not physically possible. The neck muscles are stabilizing muscles not rotary or joint style setup.

If you turn your head, you tense those muscles. She is turning her head at min 2...

What you mean is don't freeze your head on the follow through. That's what J M was saying.... 😊

I will take Minjee Lee’s swing. But there are so many great ones.

There was a saying/story/anecdote at one time that "Jack would watch Ben hit balls". Well if Louis is watching you hit balls, you've got a pretty good swing.

The answer is yes and no. It depends on your body type. For example if your a short stocky individual, you might want to look at a different example.

In conversation with Woods and Rory, Nelly says she hits down on the ball with her driver, the ball closer to the middle, unlike them. ( not up as you say). On the head thing, Nicklaus (who wasn't too shabby) believed in a steady head, swinging around it as a fixed axis. He tilted his head to trigger the backswing ( much like Millar was duplicating). You're neurotically exaggerating it in your comic of others. Nelly, indeed, has a beautiful swing, but you need to be more accurate with it. More attention would be given to her reaching right hand ( extending out and away), allowing for the club head to be closer to her head.on her downswing, creating lag,
