This is the best re-entry scene in movie history till now! The music, the camara angles, the cuts. Stunning!

I saw this in Imax 3 D and it's honestly the biggest emotion I ever had in a movie theater. It was gripping, exhilarating, exhausting. Cuaron is a genius.

When facing ones mortal end to the journey of life - I hope that I too could be as brave. A noble inspirational clip. It is what it is.

The music score for this film sequence makes this scene a masterpiece and makes the entire film truly epic.

How to ride it home like a boss.  Burning up, every alarm going off, fire and smoke in the cabin...just a 50/50 shot you make it or you don't.

"Gravity" is one of my all time favorite movies.
It mirrors my belief that if you face a problem you can overcome that problem.

When I saw this movie in the cinema, I was delighted! but when I saw this part, I cried a lot and with feeling, for the soundtrack, Sandra's performance, the effects and mainly for seeing my beloved earth.... I love you mother earth!!!

I love every comment on every one of these clips. I don't get it when people complain about that one scene (the one where Matt lets himself drift away) -- okay, yeah, it's not the most physics-accurate, but they're not really setting out to make hard sci-fi. I mean they did a damn good job of making sci-fi, but Gravity imho isn't really about a woman that gets stuck in space. It's about a woman who's stuck in grief. The space thing is almost one long extended metaphor. That's why this scene is so moving to us; she's choosing to stop floating around in the black. She's choosing to fight for a chance to live, even if it kills her to try.

I've been trying to figure out why 2:54 moves me so much, and I think I finally have an inkling: it's because that is the very first time we see daylight on earth. Not earth from 200 miles up, not the blackness of space and a globe far below... but a recognizable blue ocean, golden land. It's the first moment it feels like Ryan Stone has made it back to earth.

What makes you move against all odds?
This movie is deeply and secularly spiritual... Only a few times in Cinema I was so shaked after watching a movie

I love how all of the alarms are going off and in a normal situation she would be trying to address whatever was setting them off with three other people.

But here it's just her and it's either going to work or it's not. There's nothing else to be done. And she knows and accepts that and just sits back and rides it down.
