Multiple regression is a statistical technique used to understand the relationship between one dependent variable and two or more independent variables. Examples of Numerical Data are IQ Score (131, 126) and Test Results (96, 89). Examples of Non-Numerical Data are Study environment (Quiet or Noisy), Gender (Male or Female), or Results (Pass or Fail). Excel’s Regression data analysis tool cannot analyse non-numeric data.
