Sick leave for Railroad workers - though it would be better if the government took over the railroads. Those companies aren't taking care of business - they are profiteering.

Anybody who saw what transpired to this country then still voted for REPUBLICAN is beyond hope.

There should be some kind of top executive % cap to their pay. If all profits can't go to top execs, then they would have the $$$ to pay people a decent wage with good benefits.

One thing about Fuentes, no woman in her right mind would want to be with someone that hateful!

The way the US treats its workers is just disgustingly appalling.🤬 American politicians, mainly Republicans should be ashamed of themselves!😡 THIS is the USA we're talking about!🤷🏾‍♀️

Lawmakers need to do more than just get workers back on the rails...the deal should be felt by the CEOs also...you know...those who are enjoying huge salaries and bonuses. Watch closely and see which elected officials really do stand up for average voters.

This is smart of President Biden. Take the negotiations away from the grifting corporations and put it in the hands of The Congress. This way all of those hard working Rail workers can now look to their elected representatives and say "do what is right, ethical, and moral." and when the retrumptycans stab them in the back they will have no one to blame but themselves for voting for the retrumptycans. But, I believe Senator Sanders will do right by the American worker and get a proper solution passed in Congress.

As an US expat living in Scandinavia for almost 40 years (I'm getting so old!), the lack of paid sick leave is barbaric. It's dreadful having sick people show up infecting others, or having to work (badly) with a bad back or knee and having their recovery delayed or exacerbated.
And only 7 days! Sweet Jebus, we get a lot more than that, and very few abuse the right, becuase of loyalty to one's workmates.

I need about an hour a day of Chris+Bernie split screen. Any topic, any time of day...their conversations are the best medicine for my mind, heart & soul.

Oh my F@#$% G! I had known in passing, the name Nick Fuentes and heard he was a racist A@#$le... but I have to say after seeing those 2 clips... he stirred feelings in me I had never felt before when talking about the holocaust. All I ever felt was sadness heart break sorrow and disbelief that humanity could be so cruel and evil. Watching those 2 clips made me feel a type of rage I had never felt before, I almost broke my TV ;(. I apologize for raging in here I just had to release this somewhere. Sorry

About the strike; if the railroads are that important, people actually doing the work, should get what they need.
Otherwise, let the shareholders pull and uppermangement pull the trains.
If they are worth that much money, they might work for it.
Or reduce the percentage ceo's with 30% less. Like they did te workers.

I don't get this US limited sick-leave idea. Where I live, you are, by law, entitled to stay home if you're ill and you still get paid, for as long as you need to, so long as doctors confirm that you need the time off. I literally just email my doc "I think I have the flu and didn't go to work today" or whatever and she's like "ok, let me know when you're over it and I'll take you off sick leave, and call me if it gets bad". No need for me to go see her, unless it's longer than a week or two. Then I email again when I'm well enough to go back to work. Do US Americans just hate themselves? I mean... they shape the society that they live in. How can one be _allowed_ to fall ill for no more than a specific, arbitrary number of days? Why would you make that a thing?!

On the way to my parents' on Thanksgiving Day, there was a large crew doing extensive work on the line at one of the railroad crossings. It was rainy. On the way home, they were still there. It was turning cold and raining more and very dark by then.

Hope none of them got sick, given the working conditions. Hope they had an opportunity to eat a good appropriate meal, given what day it was.

Hope they get their sick leave and would like to see their employers replenish their numbers. It is hard to take sick leave or vacation or avoid the worst of weather conditions (when/if applicable/possible) when the company or agency you work for runs it short staffed.

Biden needs to lean on the RR execs & get those sick leave days for the workers. Thank you Bernie & Chris!
