What Difference Does 1 TSP of SUGAR Make In Your Body

preview_player
Показать описание
When you wake up in the morning, there should be about 1 teaspoon of sugar throughout all of your 5 liters of blood. That’s really not that much—think about adding a teaspoon to your coffee!

Having too much sugar in your blood is toxic, and having even a little bit too much can put you at risk of diabetes.

But when you were young and ate a sugar-loaded ice cream sundae, your body could get right back down to the 1 tsp-range in 90 minutes. Why? Hormones.

When we’re young, we are sensitive to insulin-driven hormones, but as time goes on, we become more and more resistant.

The long-term impacts of that worn-out system can include diabetes, weight gain, Alzheimer’s, high triglyceride levels, heart disease, and cancers.

My wife and I just cut sugar out of our normal eating habits, especially added sugar. Even carbs... Kind of like Keto. I will have to search for videos of yours regarding Keto next. We're into week 3 with 2 times cheating.

DLG, What causes A1C to be elevated (6.7) but fasting blood glucose into the 80’s and 90’s never exceeding over 100? Would it actually be considered pre-diabetes or diabetes 2?

What would make a person crave sugar, I mean CRAVE. A few years ago I would eat a big serving spoon full of brown sugar, or just open up the maple syrup bottle and open my mouth and just squirt a big mouthful. I can't remember how long this went on, but it wasn't more than a few weeks, if that. I've never experienced anything crazy like this EVER, not even pregnancy cravings and I'm 62 years old! I must have been 58ish, so it wasn't pregnancy cravings! Lol!

Anybody have any idea why I craved sugar like that?...or has anyone ever gone thru this themself?

Can we talk about citric acid? Where is it sourced? Is it in any of your products?
