How to add shortcuts to google apps

I made this video as a complement to my other video of how to add a table in Gmail since you'll need sheets. However, this app/service was too far down the list. Hence, by adding it to the main services/apps you could quickly navigate.

Same with me. I followed your instructions in the video, opened Sheets but it does not appear in the 9 button menu and no option to 'add shortcut'.

Totally wrong!!!! Try doing this with the Voice Mail Ap in Google Products. There is no short cut to use in that Ap.
