ribbon snake meets butterfly

Here is some video of a drying mud hole in Florida. The dry weather has left mosquitofish dead on the mud attracting flies and young ribbon snakes. This ribbon snake checks out a viceroy butterfly first from behind and then, 8 minutes later, from the front. The butterfly seems a little snotty to me.
