Having an aluminum edge with a plastic back is quite a nice balance imo. Premium feel where it counts.

Edit: Edge not frame. Guys, I was mostly focusing on the aluminum edges where the hand has the most contact. It also provides a lot of added protection.

This felt like a good old 2017 mkbhd video with the white slightly transparent text. Felt nostalgic and was a joy to watch. Good job man, love the chill vibes, sometimes simple things are better then complex edits and long videos

The 9A has both a modern and retro design. Without that camera bump, it looks funny at first glance, but then you start liking it since it's a modern phone with a good old-fashioned camera height – and when you put it in your pocket, you realize it's more comfortable (no more pressure points without the bump). The 9A looks unique, and hopefully, we will see more phones designed like this.

i miss the days when the pixel a series used to be compact sized. my pixel 3a was perfectly sized for one-hand use. i wish phones with sub 6 inch screens still existed.

It's wild that $500 is considered "budget"

I'm literally shopping for a phone currently to upgrade from my pixel 6a because of the numerous glitches and issues with that phone. 500 is NOT budget by any stretch of the imagination. Apple has ruined phone pricing structures and every other company basically except Moto has followed suit and it's insane.

I appreciate the increased battery size and no camera bump. I don't care how thin my phone is. I currently use a pixel 4a, which has the fingerprint reader on the back of the phone. And I love it there. It's much easier to reach I find. So I wish they would put it back there for the pixel 10 series.

Plus I got my pixel 4a battery changed for free due to google's warranty policy where they say some are eligible for battery replacements. With the new battery, the phone feels like a new phone. I don't need to constantly charge it like I was with my previous battery. So I will be waiting for the price to drop before buying a pixel 9a as $499 is not a low budget phone price to me.
