AirPods 2 vs AirPods 1 -- Do They Sound Different?

Apple recently released the AirPods 2 wireless earbuds. Soon after, a debate arose regarding the sound of AirPods 2 vs the original AirPods. There are certainly some changes in Apple's second generation AirPods 2 but is sound quality one of them?

This video helped a LOT because I’m currently thinking about buying AirPods and I keep seeing the 1st and 2nd generation but I didn’t know the difference. Today I found out they are EXACTLY the same but the wireless charging is on the second generation. To me I don’t use or own a wireless charger and since the first generation is exactly the same and it’s cheaper I’m going with the first generation thank you for explaining the ‘difference.’
