...that moment when you realize you're out of your depth

When Dr Craig asked him questions, I could feel the awkwardness in those silent moments.

That is great stuff! Have you read that book? I'm curious to know his opinion on the multiverse theory.

To atheists-

an intelligent creator.
Who gave each of his creation
A unique DNA code and A unique fingerprint
That’s 7.7 billion people, just on the planet alone. each with two unique signatures
And that’s not taking into account those that have died.
Barcodes on food in supermarkets require intelligence to assign each product a code
That’s only 1 unique barcode
For at least a million products in one supermarket
And you think intelligence isn’t required for 0ver 7.7 billion to have 2 unique codes per person.
REALLY!!!

Stephen Hawking famously asked "what is it that breathes fire into the equations... .?" You cannot posit anymore material origin for matter/energy/spacetime. Hawking considers God, and also asks "who created him?" - That last question is philosophically naive, I'd say. Metaphysically He forms the ground of being so the last question is redundant!

As far as *I can tell the idea of the multiverse is not so much a theory or model as it is a loose collection of thoughts, to try and get around the idea of Big Bang/Fine Tuning of the Universe...all without any observational proof.

*and I grant you I'm not That bright.

If atheists want to complain about the God of gaps argument, Christians will then argue that there's a nature of a gaps in science. I invite any atheist to convince me it's something other than God.

So even if the universe “began to exist”, that does not mean that it came from nothing. He thinks that because the universe began to exist, then it must have come from nothing, and if it came from nothing then it must have been invoked to exist by a God. Don’t theists see how much heavy lifting his ‘if’s’ are doing?

I have to say I fully understood his accent the first time, haha...but I felt he was all over the place, the argument (or pile of arguments) might not have been of the most robust...

Is there a God for every universe? The God of the Bible is unlimited and everlasting to everlasting and infinite in power. The God of the Bible could create as many universes as pleased. See that is the thinking of the natural man not the spiritual man. He doesn’t understand the possibilities of God because he has rejected God and His power and understanding of things.

So Craig seems to have this strange idea that because the universe began it was done by his God! He doesn't provide scientific evidence for this he just puts the two together!I f he cannot provide scientific evidence then the universe may have been created by other gods and goddesses that have been believed through time! Craig didn't actually prove his point!

Craig points out what he sees as similarity between current cosmology and the bible. Well, a broken clock is right two times a day, is it still not broken? If wlc were content to stop with the similarity, then fine, but he doesn't. He proposes God as creator. He is filling the gap of the unknown origin of thebuniverse with a god. Further, he posits a God that drowns puppies and pregnant women, sanctions slavery, commands rape, forced marriage and genocide, and rewards dissent with eternal torment. Beyond incredulity...
